With the cold weather making its presence known, I don’t think there is anything more comforting than hot chocolate.  Green & Black’s Organic Cocoa, not only tastes fantastic but also holds the FAIRTRADE Mark, so why not treat yourself?

Organic Linker – The Organic and Eco Directory

July 31, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Like anything in the organic and eco subjects there can be some great sites on the web, sometimes it can be a case of wading through those that you don’t like, some that really aren’t that eco and others that are simply great.

My favourite though has to be Organic Linker. Firstly, it’s a directory, so whether you’re searching for an organic bed and breakfast or solar powered products, this is the place to look. As well as the directory there’s also a forum, which is a great place for asking specific eco questions and sharing your hints and tips - failing that, it’s also a great place just to chat!

Don’t forget to check out the fab tools as well, including veggie trumps – see how well you score!

We’re a Trusted Ethical Website!

February 12, 2008 · Leave a Comment

We’re delighted to announce that we are listed in The Ethical Products Organisation’s Ethical Directory. This means that our website has been verified as ethical.

The aim of the EPO is to raise awareness of ethical products and to help shoppers to find ethical online shops. By ethical shops they mean shops where all products are ethically sourced, traded or made. They feature eco friendly, Fairtrade, natural and organic products and services.

The EPO is a not for profit directory. They don’t want to be at risk of being influenced by profit and therefore don’t charge for entries in the directory – nor do they ever intend to.

They manually screen every single website that requests to be featured in their directory. This means they can ensure ethical authenticity.

Make sure you look for the shield of authenticity when you’re shopping for ethical goods.
